YANTRA…..The
visual tool. It serves either as a centering (focusing)
or a symbolic composition of the energy patterns
of a deity as visualized by tantric seers. Yantra
is the body form of the deity whereas
mantra is the mind, consciousness, spirit or name.
It is the external visual expression through which
a deity receives devotion.
Yantra has to
be accompanied by the correlating mantra in order
to be infused with energy. Invocation or "
pranpratishtha " of the deity into the yantra
gives it the energy form. Yantras
may be used for various purposes….Shanti,
Akarshan, Vashikaran, Stambhan, Ucchhatan and
Maran.
A yantra is
invoked with energy, adopted for worship, and
becomes the dwelling place of the deity by whose
name it is known. We prescribe the correct yantra
with the corresponding mantra to resolve
various problems and issues in a scientific and
appropriate manner.
